Swamp eye, the elicit eye from the Oeverlanden
Powerful hybrid being with compound eyes, it can see not only ahead but also to the sides.
Like a giraffe, it can observe the surrounding from above.
This otherworldly creature takes care of me to overcome my fear of getting blind.
It allows me to see and absorb the world around me.
The reed are neurotransmitters to transports and processes these impressions, illuminating my thoughts with feather-light insights.

In het verlengde hiervan geef ik de cursus ‘A Makers’ Play – Deep Monstering’ aan studenten van de Master. De studenten onderzoeken het monster (het monsterlijke) in hun persoon en opdrachten. De eindpresentaties zijn performances.

The workshop aims to connect to the self, the other and the world around us by means of art. By stepping out of your role as scientist, new options for collaborations are explored and alternative sources are opened for original ideas, originating from ‘foolish’ questions, alternative forms of research (art-based learning), speculative approaches, imagination and emotions. Handles will be provided to embrace the polyphony of visions and voices. The Centre for Unusual Collaboration (CUCo) invites you to join this workshop.
